[À REMPLACER] Example article: read it again and add your own experience, examples and real prices if you wish.
It's the first question people ask me: "how much for a logo?". The honest answer is "it depends" — but not on just anything. Here's what really makes the price change.
What changes the price of a logo
The research work
An effective logo starts with understanding your business, your customers and your competitors. The more competitive your market, the more this phase matters — and it's what separates a pretty logo from a logo that works.
The number of routes and revisions
A single proposal costs less than three creative routes presented in real-life situations. Always check how many rounds of revisions are included in the quote.
The deliverables
A PNG file isn't enough. A professional logo is delivered as vectors (AI, SVG, PDF), in colour and single colour, with its variations (horizontal, vertical, icon).
A logo alone or a complete brand identity?
The logo is only one piece. If you're launching a brand, brand guidelines (colours, typefaces, usage rules) will save you time and money on every future material. That's what I offer in my graphic design & brand identity service.
Traps to avoid
- Very cheap logos often reuse templates sold to hundreds of other businesses.
- Not receiving the source files: you must own your logo.
- Choosing only by your own taste: the logo has to appeal to your customers first.
In short
A good quote spells out the research, the number of routes, the revisions, the deliverables and the transfer of rights. If you'd like a precise estimate for your project, ask me for a free quote.
