For a shop, a restaurant or a clinic, the Google Business Profile is often seen more than the website. It's what people discover when they look for a business on the Google map or in the panel next to the search results.
The basics, without mistakes
Name, address, phone number, opening hours and website must be exactly the same everywhere: on your listing, your website, your social media and in directories. Google relies on that consistency.
Choosing the right categories
The primary category is the most important factor. Choose the most precise one possible ("Pastry shop" rather than "Store"), then add a few relevant secondary categories.
Photos and posts
Real photos
Shopfront, interior, team, products: listings with recent photos get far more direction requests and calls.
Post every week
Posts (offers, new products, events) show Google and your customers that the business is alive.
Customer reviews
Ask every happy customer for a review, with a direct link, and reply to every review, even the negative ones, calmly and quickly.
