Asking for website quotes in Dubai can be confusing: for a project that looks simple, answers range from a few thousand to tens of thousands of dirhams (AED). Here is how to read those gaps, and what really drives the price.
Price ranges seen in 2026
Pricing guides published by Dubai agencies in 2026 give fairly consistent benchmarks:
| Type of website | Common range | For whom | |---|---|---| | Simple business site (up to 5 pages) | AED 3,500 to 18,000 | Freelancers, small businesses | | SME website from an established agency | AED 15,000 to 30,000 | Service businesses, firms | | SME online store | AED 20,000 to 50,000 | Brands selling online | | Complex custom website | AED 50,000 and up | Large companies, platforms |
The low end mostly comes from freelancers and small studios working from templates; the high end from agencies with a full team, offices in Dubai and heavier processes.
What pushes the quote up
- Languages. A proper English-Arabic site is not "a website plus a translation": the Arabic version needs a right-to-left layout, a dedicated typeface and real copywriting.
- The number of pages and pieces of content to write, photograph or translate.
- Features: booking, online payment, instalments (Tabby, Tamara), customer accounts, CRM connection.
- Design level: an adapted template or a design created entirely for your brand.
Yearly costs to plan for
The initial quote is only part of the budget. Add the domain name, hosting, licences (theme, plugins, e-commerce platform) and maintenance: in Dubai, basic maintenance contracts often start around AED 100 to 500 a month. Always ask for the cost of the second year.
How to pay less without lowering quality
A large share of a Dubai agency's price covers its fixed costs: offices, sales teams and some of the highest living costs in the region. Working remotely with an experienced studio, in a country where Arabic, French and English are everyday working languages, gets you the same level for a fraction of the price.
With me, a business website starts at around USD 550 and an online store at around USD 1,300, with a fixed quote before any work starts. See web design for UAE businesses and pricing.
The right questions to ask any provider
- Is the Arabic version written by a person or machine-translated?
- Will each language have its own URLs, so it can be found on Google?
- Who will own the domain, the website and the content?
- How much will the second year cost?
- Can I see bilingual websites you have already built?
A serious provider answers these five questions clearly before sending a quote.
- #Dubai
- #UAE
- #website cost
- #bilingual website
