Examples of useful workflows
A request comes in on your website: it's saved in your CRM, a quote is prepared from a template, the salesperson gets a notification and the customer an acknowledgement. An invoice is paid: it's filed, accounting is notified and the customer receives a thank-you. All with no manual data entry.
n8n and artificial intelligence
n8n can also call AI models in the middle of a workflow: summarising an email, extracting information from a document, sorting a request or drafting a first reply.

Why choose n8n over Zapier or Make?
n8n can be hosted on your own server, which keeps you in control of your data and limits costs as the number of executions grows. It also lets you add code when a need is out of the ordinary.
Which apps can be connected?
Most common tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, CRMs, e-commerce, messaging apps) have a ready-made connector. For the others, we use their API or webhooks.
What happens if a workflow breaks?
Workflows are set up to report errors immediately. You're notified, and most incidents can be fixed and re-run without losing any data.
