Graphic design & brand identity

Packaging and labels for argan oil and cooperative products

Pure argan oil sold in a plain bottle gets mixed up with the fakes in the souk. I design labels, dressed bottles and gift boxes for argan, saffron and amlou cooperatives and brands that show the quality of the product and justify its price, in shops as well as for export.

Sound familiar?

  • Your oil is high quality, but its label looks like products sold at half the price.
  • An importer or a hotel asks for more premium packaging before placing an order.
  • Mandatory information takes up all the space and the label becomes unreadable.

What I deliver

How we work

  1. 01

    The product

Cosmetic or culinary oil, sizes, retail price, points of sale and target countries.

  2. 02

    The shelf

A look at competing brands' packaging, in Morocco and in export markets.

  3. 03

    The design

Packaging directions, choice of paper, finishes and bottle according to your budget.

  4. 04

    Printing

File preparation and follow-up with your printer until the final proof.

Packaging sets the price

In a market where argan oil is often diluted or imitated, buyers look for signs of seriousness: a clean label, complete information, a quality bottle. Careful packaging lets you sell at a fair price instead of matching the cheapest products.

Selling to tourists, hotels and abroad

An elegant gift box sells more easily in a hotel shop or as a corporate gift. For export, clear information in the customer's language and a professional presentation reassure importers.

A consistent range

Your packaging should match your cooperative logo and your website. For products other than argan, see also packaging design in Morocco.

Frequently asked questions

What information must appear on an argan oil label?

It depends on the use (cosmetic or culinary) and the country of sale: product name, ingredients, volume, origin, batch number, date, producer details and, where relevant, labels and authorisations. I lay out the information that you or your certification body provide; regulatory approval remains your responsibility.

Can you work on small quantities?

Yes. For small runs, I favour standard formats and sensible finishes, such as a fine label on a stock bottle, rather than overly expensive custom packaging.

Do you also design packaging for saffron, amlou or honey?

Yes, a cooperative's whole range can share one identity, with a different colour or marker for each product.
